Since the creation of the brand in 2021 our fabrics have been sourced in Italy and Germany to have a short circuit.
From the beginning of 2022, 80% of the new designs have been upcycled with end of stocks, dormant stocks or fabric scraps.
Our fabrics are mostly tencel (eucalyptus wood pulp), linen and cotton. Biological and Oeko-Tex
Most of the raw materials used to create Cocotte products are from naturels sources and biological. Our priorities are to preserve resources and the climate, avoid deforestation, respect animal welfare and stop the use of hazardous chemicals.
A packaging must be a combination of elegance and eco-responsibility. To achieve this, Cocotte uses recyclable boxes with 60% of the recycled materials and vegetable ink. They are also made from paper pulp from responsibly managed forests and mills certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®). As they are received folded, they have a double advantage: they save space, which optimises the volumes transported and reduces the CO2 emissions generated by their logistics.
The business cards and thank-you cards are made in France with biodegradable paper that turns into field flowers thanks to its seed content to help the pollination of bees.
Our commited journey
Cocotte is committed to making a positive change for the planet by donating 1% of its annual sales to the 1% for the planet foundation.
